*Photo: * *Irene Fuller*: Irene is such a valuable part of the Sandy Creek History Center team. She remembers family names and places in the town and twin villages. Researchers love talking to her as it is always good to talk to someone who knew their family or friend.

Irene keeps the obituary files current and works on the accession’s artifacts for the town and villages. We have three ways to find accessions; one is adding accessions to a notebook, an accessions file and accession index. All these have a number which leads us to the artifact. Thank you, Irene.

*“What records can I expect to find at the Sandy Creek History Center?”

*Census records, cemetery records, scrapbooks, Sketches (from the 1845 census that lists people of that era), Yesterday’s Album (Marie Parsons), many photos-family and local, family genealogies, history files, History of Oswego County, Landmarks of Oswego County, house histories (Sanford Wheeler), Church histories, Hadley Marriage Records, Fire Department records and history (Helen Potter), Maps (1854, 1867, 1889, Sanborn Fire Maps and local newspapers and much more.
