Photo: House relocated for Rt. 81

The house on the right (Salisbury Street) was owned by Charles Williams and his wife. It was moved across the street for the construction of Rt. 81 and turned 180 degrees. The next two houses, owned by Hogan and Lortie were both removed for construction of Route 81. Gilbert “Gibb” Williams, their son, was part owner of T. C. G. in Lacona (Thrifty Consumer Gas) which sold gasoline, oils, hardware and sporting goods) Today the house has been totally remodeled.
